Evangelical Christ Foundation Church

Our Story

Church History

Evangelical Christ Foundation Church is one of the significant members of Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), founded by Prophet Emmanuel Kofi Sakyi.

The Church traces its original roots from the Blood of Jesus. Prophet Emmanuel Kofi Sakyi, the founder of this Church, previously joined the Blood of Jesus when he was seeking for spiritual healing for his pregnant wife with maternal and fetal complications. After the miraculous healing of his wife in 1985, he decided to join the Blood of Jesus as a church member.

Prophet Emmanuel Kofi Sakyi, who was then a farmer, had the Holy Ghost arrest one day while at farm which was similar to the account of Paul's convertion on the route of Damascus.

He was trained and ordained as a pastor in the year 1986 by Prophet Yeboah of the Boold of Jesus. Two years after his ordination, he was led by the Spirit of God to form Evangelical Christ Foundation Church in 1988 which was officially registered with the Registrar General on the 8th of January, 1989.

Due to his spirit-filled commitment, generousity and powerful miracles done through the Grace of God, the church multiplied within a few years.

Currently, the church has over 34 branches in Ghana and in Togo with over 4272 members.

"To spread the Good News" has been the motto of the church since 1989.
